Course Description

This graduate-level course explores the principles and practices of data architecture and cloud computing. Students will gain an understanding of how data are stored, managed, and processed across various environments, including on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid systems. The course covers foundational topics such as data warehousing, data lakes, data mesh, and data fabric, while delving into the client-server model, networking concepts, and emerging trends. Emphasis is placed on cloud computing, including its infrastructure, services, and integration with artificial intelligence.
