Insurance, Risk Management, and Professionalism

The course provides a thorough learning experience of risk management and insurance principles and of the Code of Professional Ethics of the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters. Topics include insurable risks and financing alternatives, the insurance contract, insurable interests, and external factors affecting insurance contracts. Cases and situation analysis will primarily be used.
