ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE MAJOR IN CYBERSECURITY
Total Credits Required: 60 Credits
Hawai‘i Pacific University offers the Associate of Science degree in Cybersecurity to students enrolled through College of Professional Studies (CPS) (Off-Campus/Military Campus Programs) upon completion of 60 semester hours of required and elective subjects. The AS in Cybersecurity will allow students to obtain the basic foundational goals in computer security and networking.
PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES
Students who earn the Associate of Science in Cybersecurity will:
Apply fundamental concepts of functions, relations, sets, and counting strategies in problem-solving to address data breaches including application, information, and network security.
Implement continuous network monitoring and provide real-time security solutions.
Develop solutions for networking and data security problems.
Explain the concepts of confidentiality, availability, and integrity in information assurance.
