20th-Century American Women Writers of Color

A course on identity politics shaped by class, race, gender, and sexuality as expressed through the literary works by American women of color in the 20th century. The focus of the course will be on the poetry, prose fiction, drama, and biographical and critical essays by Native American, African American, Asian American, and Latino women writers.
