Diversity Perspectives in the Social Environment

This course presents perspectives and conceptual frameworks for understanding ethno-cultural differences, the dynamics and consequences of oppression, and diversity in relation to vulnerable or at-risk groups. Students will be challenged to examine their ideas about such at-risk populations and begin understanding of and positively changing behaviors towards such populations.
