Sociology of Gender and Sexuality

This course explores the development of gender, sexuality and sexual identities and their distinctive places in society today. Emphasis is placed on their lateral/horizontal progress in the realms of society and cultural development. Gender and sexuality are examined in the context of current overarching patriarchal systems.
