Field Practicum

Students are placed with a community action group or social group under the cooperative supervision of a University mentor and agency staff. While developing specific job competencies, students apply sociological methods and the sociological framework to an applied setting and expand their learning through an experimental approach. Professional ethics are a particular focus. Required for majors.
