Practicum I in TESOL

A practicum course offering the student opportunities to observe, participate, and assist in ESOL classes both on and off campus. Also included is a professional development project. The individual student's background is considered in designing the practicum. Periodic seminars help students explore insights gained while carrying out practicum components. Course Restrictions: Restricted to students in the Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages program and the Graduate Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
