Screen Printing

Using hand-drawn and photographic images, students learn to use a photomechanical technique to develop multiple-color screen prints. Students learn basic hand-printing techniques, multiple-layer registration, color application and theory. Most printing is on paper, but students are encouraged to experiment with textiles, wood, etc. Course culminates with a portfolio exchange.
