Course Description

This course explores the standards and codes of professional responsibility in various professions as well as examine the theoretical and philosophical basis of ethics and the standards of professional conduct and leadership applicable to justice and other agencies. It also explores analysis and evaluation of ethical dilemmas, roles of professional organizations. Emphasis is placed on the inter-related nature of ethics, morality, legal responsibility, and social issues.
