Course Description

A critical examination of the steps involved in a criminal case, from arrest to final court disposition. The course reviews landmark law cases addecting pretrial and trial rights of criminal defendants. Topics include: laws governing arrest, including confession and search and seizure; right to counsel; indentification procedures; and self-incrimination.
