Bioengineering Signals and Systems

An introduction to electrical signals, systems and signal processing. Topics include: description and analysis of systems, mathematical representation of signals, discrete and continuous signal representation, conversion and processing strategies, Fourier series and Fourier Transform analysis of signals and systems, sampling and the discrete Fourier transform, the Laplace transform, Laplace transform analysis of signals and systems, z-transform analysis of signals and systems. Students will solve problems theoretically and in Matlab.
