Course Description
Examines systems, sub-components and biocomposition of land treatment of waste. Topics include: soil hydraulics, vegetation selection, site selection, onsite investigations, preapplication treatment and storage, transmission and distribution of waste water. Students will examine natural systems for treatment of waste water, reuse of biosolids and strategies for vegetation and site selection toward land treatment and management systems, with focus on municipal and industrial wastes.
