Senior Honors Project I

This course is the first of 2 capstone courses for students in the Honors Program, or may supplement the student's capstone experience within the major. Students should have junior or senior status in their major. In conjunction with a mentor and a reader, students will develop ideas for their Senior Project and write a project proposal consistent with standards in their selected field(s) of study. This course should be taken in a semester prior to HON 4901 Senior Seminar II, either alone or in conjunction with a course in the major that requires a written proposal for the capstone project. In all cases, students defend their propsal orally.
