Seabird Ecology and Conservation

Survey of phylogeny, anatomy, physiology, behavior and ecology of marine birds, with an emphasis on North Pacific species. The goal of this course is to provide students with the understanding of the ecology of these marine top predators and their role in the marine ecosystems. Hands-on activities in the laboratory, field work and guest lectures by resource managers will augment the course material.
