Course Description
This course introduces the basics of project management in an information systems context. Students will become familiar with the project life cycle and the supporting processes and knowledge areas. Particular emphasis is placed on the foundation principles as well as the latest trends guiding project management in organizations. Students will be introduced to a variety of tools supporting project management. Prerequisite: MIS 2000 (concurrent enrollment allowed); and C- or higher in any WC&IL II course or HON 1000.
