Communication for Health Care Professionals

An introduction to professional and therapeutic communication concepts and techniques integral to the relationship between the nurse and professional colleagues and the nurse and patients and families. Included are basic communication and interpersonal theories, the role of self in communication, and group process. The course integrates theory, concepts, and skills development.
