Child and Family Health

This course provides and integrative, family-centered approach to the care of children using a nursing process framework. Emphasis is placed on normal growth and development, family dynamics, common pediatric disorders and the promotion of healthy behaviors. Building on prior learning, students develop clinical reasoning skill in evidence-based pediatric care.
