Pharmacology & Pharmacotherapeutics I

Provides knowledge of the general principles of pharmacology including classification, site and mechanisms of action, toxicity, and integration of knowledge of basic medical science to understand how drugs interact with the human body. Includes a focus on selection and the rational for use of medications for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of disease, dosing and monitoring of medication, and drug interactions.
