Description

This course provides an overview of the processes, techniques, and political/ administrative aspects of public budgeting and finance for federal, state, and local governments in the United States. The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the theories, concepts, and practice of government budgeting and finance to expose them to the current issues and challenges in this field. This course also provides students with both theoretical perspectives and practical analytical skills involved in understanding, analyzing and preparing budgets.
