Foundations of Public Health and Advanced Practice Roles

This overarching philosophy, frameworks, and scientific basis for the field of public health, including an overview of past, current, and future challenges and successes. This 0-credit, self-guided course is required for students entering HPU’s MPH program without an undergraduate degree in public health from a CEPH-accredited program or coursework that demonstrates competency in these foundational principles (to be determined by the Public Health Graduate Advisor).
