Description

This course will provide an in-depth exploration of the social determinants of health including historical and current racism, sexism, socioeconomic status, education, culture, community and organizational norms, healthcare, and the built environment. Students will explore personal and others' experiences of these determinants and gain appreciation for their complexity and power. Students will apply these understanding towards public health solutions.
