Global Project Management Standards

The course provides students with a functional knowledge of the global standards influencing project management. Standards have become a driving force in calling attention to the importance of project management. The course compares and contrasts the various project management standards being proposed world-wide. Standards and competencies supporting project managers, project quality, programs, maturity models, and team development will also be reviewed. The course focuses particular attention on the Project Management Institute’s project management certification and the certification examination preparation.
